“Unlike conventional talking therapies, EFT brings about change with the least emotional and physical discomfort possible. Why put my clients through unnecessary discomfort when it isn’t needed?”

How it works

Why tapping works

01

We learn to hold it in

Suppressed emotion

As children we throw a tantrum, release the negative emotion and forget about it.

As we grow up we learn that isn’t acceptable — so we suppress our emotions instead.

02

The body stores it

A disrupted energy system

That suppressed emotional energy gets trapped in our body and energy system, and causes more negative emotions.

It stockpiles until the body shows us what’s happening with a physical or emotional reaction.

03

Tapping releases it

Energy flowing freely

Tapping on certain points (meridians) sends a pulse of energy through the channels of your body and neutralises that reaction.

The energy flows freely again — so the issue can literally disappear.

The approach

Change with the least discomfort

Tapping is an amazingly effective tool for reducing and even eliminating distress and unhelpful patterns of behaviour.

EFT is said to have a 98% efficacy rate, according to a study reported in the Journal of Holistic Nursing in 2017.

Karen is a certified EFT practitioner, and can combine tapping with her other techniques where it will help you most.

Sessions are available face to face in Thorpe Bay, Essex, or online via Zoom or FaceTime — whichever suits you best.
