TRYING IS LYING!

When a client says they’ll “try”, Karen’s heart sinks. Why the words you use tell your brain whether you’ll actually do something.

When a client tells me they will TRY to do the things we have spoken about in our session, my heart sinks.

Why?

Because… TRYING IS LYING!

Bit harsh?

Ask yourself if you arranged to meet a friend in town and they said

“I will be there at 8pm” or “I will try to be there at 8pm”, which one do you think will be there at 8pm?

And think about the message it sends to your brain, if you tell yourself you will TRY you are giving yourself an excuse to NOT do something, if you tell yourself you WILL you aren’t.

If you are suffering with anxiety and WILL do the work to change your life, get in touch. we will make a great team.
